I know exactly where you are coming from one of the old banned/ceased production coal tars was the only one that came anywhere close to keeping the P under control. My Dermy did prescribe Sebco as an alternative it was kind of alright but by the time you have more than so much coverage, creams become lifestyle limiting, with having to do this then wait for so long before you can put this cream on. i can agree with the E45 it was like pasting battery acid on with me - but it is important to keep moisturising. There will be one or two that will work for you. Mine are Cetraben for use first thing and Dermol for use in the evening because it is absorbed quickly and tends not to be ikky. I have also been dabbling with a cheapo Coconut Oil and I can see the benefits. Like everybody says push for a Consultants appointment, you need treatment beyond what a GP can dish out. A word of warning though you will probably have to run through the tedium of failing on all the available lotions and UV treatment before orals are prescribed, that's the NHS guidelines for you
