I think it is a very up to date medium to stay up to date with what is happening on certain subjects you are intrested in or you get handed over by the ones you follow who feel that it is important.

It is also a great way to check what is going on if something occurs in your neighbourhood, e.g. Suddenly a motorway gets stuck or there is a helicopter all the time flying around or there is a big fire somewhere. But you have to be critical not everything is true, they are all interpretations of people.

I agree Caroline and just follow a few you want to see or your timeline gets filled with junk

I can't understand these people that try to get loads of followers just so they can brag about numbers

I just follow a few friends and family and a few others I find interesting
