Hi Jon and welcome to the club, I hope you enjoy the site which is packed with loads of information about the disease along with members experiences...we don't have health professionals here just fellow sufferers that will always pass an opinion or offer advice
Regarding your lack of pigment, where your plaques were, I have a similar problem on my legs where my skin is thin after years of steroid creams and have several white spots on them that don't seem to change ...but looks better through the winter as my tan fades
