How does it affect the internal organs of the body and brain tissues specifically?

So if you have had head injuries does it plaque inside the brain?

Psoriasis weakens the immune system so in theory I suppose it could have an affect on the internal organs. there have been reports of increased risk of heart problems in people with psoriasis. I was checked over very thoroughly for my Liver, but that was because of the medication and not as a direct risk from psoriasis.

As for the Brain I don't know of any connection with psoriasis apart from the emotional state it can put you in! If you did have a head injury it could result in psoriasis at the site of the skin damage, but I wouldn't think it could cause plaques on the actual brain as it is an internal organ. and plaques only affect the skin.

I will move this thread to the Psoriasis Section as it will get noticed better there, and hopefully someone will have a better answer for you.
