Good afternoon,

My insurance company has approved me for Cosentyx. Ive been on everything and cant wait to try it. I'll be on 300mg Sensoready shots. Now I am looking for a specialty pharmacy that has it available to order. Does anyone know who might have it yet?

Hi Wormtail.... Firstly let me  Welcome  welcome you to the forum it's a great source of free information without bias towards any manufacturer you will find us a lively bunch of sufferers who will gladly share their  experiences of various treatments, we tend to support each other through the bad times and share the joy of successes. I think that you have stumbled upon a pretty unique forum where you can talk freely with fellow sufferers away from spam or advertising it's a very friendly place to "belong" so delve in the boards are all yours to browse
I'm afraid I can't help you with your enquiry regarding Cosentyx (Secukinamub) from checking the records we do not have any members on it. But one of the members may know where to get it from
When you do get it it would be great if you would let us know of your progress. There's a lot here about the trials for Cosentyx
You can read of them here Cosentyx gets FDA approval for psoriasis
Price war about to start with psoriasis treatments?
I hope you have an enjoyable time with us here and I wish you luck with the treatment and hope to see you in the off topic section
Jim

Today I called CVS Caremark specialty pharmacy,Walgreens specialty pharmacy,Avella specialty pharmacy and was told they dont know when Costentx will be available. If anyone has any more places that I can call it would be great. I'm using otezla and methotrexate right now and its barely helping. I just need to get my hands on Cosentyx as soon as I can

Have you called Novartis at one of their offices and ask them if anyone has it available
I have looked around and found a link to their contact page in the US they may be worth a call

I'm sorry you're not getting anywhere with this, I personally don't understand you system. Here we get a prescription and take it to any pharmacy of our choosing and they give us the treatment, so I don't understand why that doesn't work in the USA.  Confused

All I could come up with is for you to contact Novartis directly and ask them for advise.

I've called Novartis and they don't know what specialty pharmacies Costenyx will be at yet. They sure didnt plan ahead very well. They claim they have no idea where the drug will be sold and to keep checking back. I have told them I was approved and need the meds post haste. I'm eager to try this as my psoriases is slowly coming back and its hard to clear when it flares.Ive tried so many pills and shots but nothing seems to work.I'm even resilient to the topicals now.
