Protopic and Elidel creams are two choices that can be used for extended periods. Both require prior authorization and Require a dermotologist to get. Hello and welcome.

I had psoriasis on my face as well. I didn't like using steroid creams either so I went through my general doctor to a local spa and asked what lotions they would recommend (it is a medical spa.) I had good results with a Vit C Lotion 15% which worked well as a moisturizer before putting on make up. But it was being on Acitretin and UVB treatments where I saw the clearing start. Currently I use coconut oil to help moisturize.

As others have said though, a good doctor is the way to go!

Hi Jess and welcome to the forum.
Good stuff is the coconut oil try it and I am sure that you will find it OK.
As everyone has said , get a good dermatologist it's the main thing and in the meantime have a good look around as this site is overflowing with information .
You will find that after a few weeks on here that you will notice that a degree of lunacy creeping in to your everyday life ,don't worry as this is normal ,it's catching off all the inmates on here .
