I don't have eczema so can't comment on that. But as for your question about was it "Food ,red wine or shrimp" I wish I knew Reggie.

I think 99% of us have often thought was it this or was it that which caused the flare up. Some of us (myself included) have tried removing various things from our diet or lifestyle, we have kept a daily diary of food, emotions, etc but and I don't know about the rest. I have never managed in all my years with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis to pin it down as to what caused it to flare up.

There are many studies and suggestions from food to stress, injury to weather conditions. But we are all different and to be honest if I knew 100% what caused me to have a flare up I would stop or give it up tomorrow. But to this day I have never found the cause, and to be honest I've given up trying to work it out and now just go with the flow.

Hi again Reggie it's not easy to say what brought on this relapse, but in your other post you say the dermatologist said you had exzema and psoriasis .....you are on a steroid cream that hasn't affected it

You can spend your life wondering what caused the flare up, but it could be anything ....stress , something you ate , a wound, there are countless triggers

I would suggest you go back to your dermatologist and tell him the creams aren't working and ask to move to the next step which may be uv treatment or oral drugs to control the psoriasis although I know nothing of exzema treatments

But you need to arm yourself with what you want to do ( browse the prescribed treatments board for ideas to discuss with your dermatologist )
If you need any help just shout Thumb
