Can I ask how you use Paraffin for psoriasis, I've never heard of it being used by anyone before.

Regards.

Fred.

Hi Fred,
I use liquid parafin to keep the skin moist and reduce flaking. I use it immediately after a shower when the skin is relatively soft and it soaks the moisture in. However, this is a greasy option, so it may cause staining on apparels. Having said that, I still prefer it as it gives me Moisturizer skin for almost 12hrs. Hope this is helpful.

Oh I get it now. It's not Paraffin as I know it, it's something like Baby Oil. I had visions of you having to avoid walking anywhere near an open flame as like Jim said we use it for heating. Big Grin

Glad you feel welcome Sanandas I am glad you are comfortable and feel like one of us ....we aim to keep the site friendly and informal, so it is  nice getting feedback saying you feel like an insider ( which of course you are now  Big Grin )
Thanks for clearing up the paraffin reference .......as we burn paraffin in heaters to heat things  Wink  but have you tried coconut oil as its not as messy as liquid paraffin    Thumb

Yes Jiml, I use coconut extensively. I am a big fan. Smile

Hi, we do have other uses for liquid paraffin , if you drink it you will never need worry about whether or not you get constipation .
As Jim say's try coconut oil it is very good.
Hi, is the use for paraffin for constipation tried and tested? Its a new concept to me. Could you please guide.

Fred got me started on coconut oil, but it's best if you can get good quality virgin coconut oil
I'm glad you're already a fan of it
