Hi Bob, welcome to the club!

I have no experience with your type of psoriasis. The bad news is psoriasis is for life but the good news is that it can usually be managed with the right treatment. Sadly it can take awhile before you find what works for you and sometimes you have to push doctors to try something else if what you are currently using ends up not working. But hang in there, this board has lots of info on treatments so you can learn what has worked for others.

Light treatment did help me but I also went on an oral treatment (Acitretin) that helped me get clear (well 90%+ clear anyway) I still have a few problem areas but am much improved so don't give up until you find what works for you Smile
