Hi Nabrug .... yes there was a lot of discussion about DMF a few years ago. When it was used as a fungicide in furniture being shipped around the world from China
Dmf is not something i would want on my skin as it's known it can cause contact dermatitis, but I think it's totally different to taking it internally where your gastric juices soon break it down I think.
I'm not a chemist or doctor but Caroline has written a great article on the way DMF works in the body See Dimethylfumarates and Psoriasis

And I doubt if that's what's causing your itching

Is the psorinovo starting to clear your psoriasis yet ?

With love, Nico.

Don't give up. DMF derivative drugs can take a while to work as do some other drugs.
Have you tried using an antihistamine to alleviate the itching. I have good results with a supermarket own label non drowsy.
Don't worry about short posts, the important thing is you are here amongst friends.

Stay with it Nico if you feel it's changing it probably is ......it's not fast acting but do keep on with it and you should find when it kicks in, it should give you long term clearance .....there are people who have been clear on it long term Thumb
As soon as it begins to clear it will lift one big worry from you and hopefully you will feel less like crying Thumb
Keep coming back and talking if it helps, and bring your questions and we will try to answer them

Thank you.

I will now ask a question in Dutch:
Caroline of anderen kennen jullie een antihistamin? Hoe heet dat hier? Of waar moet ik zoeken.
(Caroline or others what is a.h. in Dutch? Where can you find it? Alternatives?)

This quote is from a woman who also suffered a lot of itching till week 7. Till it disappeared completely. Sorry it is in Dutch.

Google translation:

Caroline or others do you know an antihistamine? What's that called here? Or where should I search?
(

"Especially at night I had stomach cramps and I was very nauseous when the diarrhea was out again, and I was relieved that if I was on a new dose for a few days, these complaints disappeared, and I got a lot of itchiness. Unbearable. This did not stop, because I was about to stop because of itching in the 5th week. I was so crazy. Finally I continued and in the 7th week the itch became much less. Happy birthday, a couple of times (counting a hand) I had a hot flush last year, giving me a feeling of warmth and my face became red. Then it also came back. However, the stomach ache and diarrhea continued regularly Come back. Sometimes annoying, but nice that almost all psoriasis spots have disappeared! I had my head to my toes, little ones, but also bigger places. I no longer dared to go to the swimming pool or beach, and that's right now. I only 3 times Take a pill during the day. And what a great result! Had I discovered this before years. "

Don't take to much onboard about what you read on the internet. Yes there is a lot of good information, but sometimes it will only confuse things. You are talking about an allergy that comes from contact with the skin it has nothing to do with digesting it.

You should read these threads to understand a bit more:

Dimethylfumarates and Psoriasis

Bill's pure dimethylfumarate thread

Yes I am biased, but you will find much more relevant information on Psoriasis Club.

*Please don't take it personal but I have made an edit to your post as it is promoting another website which is against our policy. Also can I please ask that you keep to English as we are an English speaking forum.

I will do a Google translation of your last post.

Sorry Fred,

I thought I went by the rules. I keep everything in English but this is very particular and I want to know if there are any Dutch things, with special Dutch names.

Thanks for all the help!!!! Your help and website is great!!!!

I read those threads but the itching is not fully covered. At least I think that it doesnt answer my specific question. What I at least can say is that it is maybe positive that I have this other itching. Like the qouted woman tells. You at least can say that something is happening. Maybe in a few weeks I will encounter the same experience. Hope so. So hard.

Nico if you go to your local pharmacy and ask for some  antihistamine tablets they will have a variety available without prescription ...I don't know if they have Piriton in holland but I would think you do

All the side effects will decrease as your body gets used to the drug, but it may take some time to stop completely .....it is hard but should be worth the effort  Thumb
Good luck
