I have been put back on Enbrel. I was on it 10+ years before. It stopped working for me so a few years ago I was on Humira. And over a year ago on Cosentyx. I haven't been on anything for a year. So I am concerned that Enbrel might not work this time around. Is there anyone that has been on Enbrel and then stopped and started it back after years of being on it? What has been your experience?

There was an article in the Dutch periodical "Psoriasis" about the comparison of Infliximab (Remicade) and Eternacept (Enbrel). The article was based on an interview with dermatologist Anna-Christa de Vries, who did the research.
In that article it says that you do not build up anti-bodies when you use Enbrel. So this means that a reaction when restarting to use it is very unlikely.
If it will work....?? I don’t have a clue. But the same article tells about intervals of use to keep it working, so I think you do have quite a chance that it will work again.
Good luck Sarah !  Thumb

Cheers,
Caroline

As far as I know it will work the same as it did before. So as long as you never had a problem with it before then it should work as expected.

I have made an edit to your subject as we have lot's of Enbrel threads.

Good luck Sarah, I hope it works just like it did before. If not Taltz or Tremfya may be worth you looking at.
