I found that a shampoo with coconut oil helped with the itching (or even just using coconut oil, I would put the coconut oil in a small bowl and then place that bowl in a larger bowl of hot water to melt the coconut oil. I could get it into the scalp better that way and using the hot water method to melt it kept it from being too hot on my scalp, it was a nice warm temperature)

Hi Jo welcome to our Club I have learned so much here and sure you will also.I also have Psorosis of the scalp also and use Clobetasol Shampoo in the USA that’s the Shampoo and I use it twice a week.I color my hair and it lighentens up my color which I want to stay darker. I have hair loss or thinning but I think it’s due to my Thyroid it is under active and I take Synthroid for it.I also have a few patches on several places on my body.I am on weekly shots of Embrel 50 mg injector pen.I was sick for a few weeks and my Arthritis Dr told me not to take my shot so I skipped a couple weeks now back on my shot. I also have pitting in my fingernails so I get my nails done every two weeks and I do what’s called SNS they dip my nails in powder and them the color I pick!It has really made my nails stronger and not ashamed of my nails now.They looked horrible before and I also get my toe nails done.
I tell my husband I do’t Smoke,drink or gamble so I can get my nails done.I got psorosis and then Psoriatic Arthritis.I was 55 when I finally found out what it all was.I always thought I had dandruff but was psorosis I now am 67 and it is getting a little better. I hope you get some relief and find something that works for you.Here in the US we get in to our Drs much quicker than most countries.I wish you well and hope you find something that works for you!
