So my son finds the Clobex Shampoo is to annoying to apply and it is thinning his already fine and very blond hair which makes the psoriasis easier for others to see. Any one tried any shampoos that are easy to apply and work for you? By easy to apply, I mean it works like an actual shampoo...you put it on, lather, let it sit for a few minutes and rinse off. His scalp is pretty bad. Starting the Stelara pretty soon but would be great if he didn't feel he had to hide in a hat every day...

I always found Polytar shampoo worked well for me rather smelly (coal tar)but the smell soon goes .... but I always keep a bottle handy in case and use it even when clear once a week

Others I have read use TGel shampoo but haven't tried that myself  Thumb

Take my advice; I don't use it anyway.

I tried the T-gel but didn't find that it helped.

I had some mild relief using a regular shampoo with coconut oil. In my case it was Suave and I currently use an Argon Oil shampoo. I can't say I had much success really with shampoos, but found that the ones for psoriasis didn't help me any more than those without (also had problems with some of them not lathering well or hair not feeling as clean afterwards)

I moisturize along my hairline after shampoos (as that area is problematic for me) which also has helped as it seems like I'm always a bit more itchy after shampooing.

I hope you find something that helps Smile

Thanks for the info. Will see the doc this week and see what he says.  I’m guessing we will have to wait for the Stelara
