I think the MTX dosage is too low.  Not the standard dose for psoriasis.  Maybe after a few weeks you can ask to increase it.  That is if you are not having side effects but I would doubt it with that dosage.

How many of the 2.5 mg pills will you be taking?  I'm taking six per week and taking them on Thursdays.  It's important to keep to the same day of the week.

A friend acquired Rheumatoid Arthritis as an adult and was fairly disabled from walking.  The Methotrexate gave him his life back, and he is mobile, working his farm, very physical, again.  He has had no bad side effects.

I'm finding a mild nausea and mild to moderate headache for a day or so after my Thursday doses, but it's not too terrible.  I have not seen improvement in skin, yet, but it's been only two weeks.

See my post here RE: My Journey to halt/end my psoriasis, in contrast to Psoriatic Arthritis, MTX does work for Rheumatoid Arthritis. (Which is the implicit reason that over here al rheumatologists without thinking prescribe it for Psoriatic Arthritis, without realising that it is a different disease).

Well if as an aside, it works on my arthritis, then that is a huge bonus!! It will cut 2 pills out of my life. Money I can use elsewhere....like a much needed pair of shoes for this old woman!

Haven't seen anything here on Clobex (Clobetasone). It's a steroid that's a mist that you put on. It's very strong as it's only dosage is .05%. But after just days, things are clearing up, just not completely. It was given as an interim measure to calm the breakout and to ease itching. Just what I wanted...another steroid. I will use for a month and see. I will stop then because I know it will affect my mood. Steroids always do.

That's interesting I didn't know Clobex was available as a spray, I hope it works for you

Well, the clobex is working pretty good to be honest. Only gonna use it for a month or so cuz I hate steroids. And I lost another 4 lbs...at Christmas! Down to 304 lbs which means I have lost 63 lbs in total!  I am beside myself. Not since I got married have I been at this size. I am tickled.

Well, second dose of MTX. Sweats, nausea. Ah well, that's life, I guess. Let's see how well it helps with getting rid of the psoriasis. No real progress there, that I can see at this point. The Clobex has helped a lot so it's hard to tell if any of the effects are from MTX. We shall see when I get rid of the Clobex in like 6 weeks. Not staying on the steroid long term. No way.

I lost another 1/2 lb. in spite of eating like a pig this past week.
