Hi all, yesterday I said I received an email from someone called billy who was a mechanic. He was in despair and was thinking of blowing his head off. he said the psoriasis was in his finger nails and toenails and sounded so distraught. I did reply to him through a yahoo email. Unfortunately I cannot find it to copy and paste for you all to see. I tried to say to him that it was harder for a female especially in this hot weather as I cannot wear shoes as the pressure hurts my toes and wearing sandals is a definate no no for me. Maybe I said the wrong thing to him and now I am a bit worried because if he is not a member here then why did I get the email. please help

Hello Susan, I don't know of any member registered with the name of Billy. If he contacted you via email and not through this forum there is not much I can do from this end to help you track him.

Have you had contact with him before? and do you give out your email anywhere the public can see? Facebook / Twitter etc.

STOP just for a few mins, breathe!

You cannot be held responsible for others and their actions.

I don't know nothing about whether someone a member or not.

Now I would worry myself also given this situation, you have replied in the way you felt best, some people find it helpful others sharing their experience and they may feel a bit better knowing they may not suffer in the same way.

Sadly though some people are just stuck and will struggle to get out of a hole.

I suffer very bad with my skin it has gotten worse with pregnancy I have more psoriasis now than normal skin, but most days I just get on with it and hate having to acknowledge people's sympathies and questions about how bad I have it, yet I know someone who has mild psoriasis and they go on and on about it! This condition affects everyone in such different ways, I go back to what I said earlier you are not responsible for what others do.

Maybe the person is just unable to get online,or just thinking things over before replying!

Try to relax, don't let other peoples actions make your situation worse as worry and stress will make psoriasis worse.

Hi Fred I only look on facebook I don't send messages or anything and I not sure how to do twitter even though I registered. If I get another email will let you see it, if that is okay with you?

Yes that's fine if I can help I will, If you do get another email let me know.

It may sound a bit over cautious but best to be on the safe side especially where emails addresses are concerned. But like Hanna said don't take it to heart.

Fred.
