hmmm you make some good points there, it's bad that companies hide themselves in those websites. That website to be honest is pretty rubbish, the information is poor and basic. I was thinking of looking into the exploitation of people living with psoriasis and all these so called miracle cures. It annoys me so much, dad's tried so many different treatments and when I was younger spent hundreds on creams, diets and dead sea salts etc that claimed to cure, with no success. I gave up in the end cause all I got was no comment or I was bounced from person to person with no one having the answers.

I've had a read other peoples posts on here and already learning loads that I hadn't realised before, I thought I was quite clued up on psoriasis and different treatments etc but it would seem I still have a lot to learn and understand.

Thanks again for all your help Smile

As a person living with psoriasis what topics would you like to see in a documentary? Agree Thumb with Fred on the psychological side, and indeed a lot can be researched and inventoried on the history of treatments.

Are you aware of the current Psoriasis Mandate campaigning for better care and support in europe? No! I'll take a look later.

Have you ever watched a documentary on psoriasis before? If so what was it? Did you find it helpful/interesting? No. But over here in holland the patients group on Psorinovo has the same idea of making a film.

From your point of view, would watching people with psoriasis sharing their stories help you in anyway? No it wouldn't help me in my own way of dealing with the psoriasis problem. Personally I have found the ideal treatment, i have my own thread on this treatment on this forum, to share the results.

I'm interested in the effect the condition has on family units, do you think your psoriasis has effected your relatives, friends partners etc in anyway ? Yes certainly it has had effect in the beginning. See also the thread of Fred, but currently I am not bothered anymore as I have everything under control.

Do you think you relatives, friends, partners understand what you experience on a day to day basis? Not relevant for me anymore.

Do you think a documentary like this might help them to understand you and you to understand them and how they view your condition? Yes, I think it would help a lot of relatives to understand.

Do you think more documentaries like this need to be made to raise awareness of the condition in order to educate people so they gain a better understanding? Well a good documentary may certainly help, but I fear the influence of large companies with their treatments. There may be attention to a lot of treatments in the documentary, but it cannot be totally complete because of the enourmous number of them and of the very differing results. So, there I am again, "my treatment" will probably not be mentioned at all, while it is already known for 20 years that it works.

Cheers,
Caroline

It's a huge business, from creams that sometimes don't pass any testing, that are very cheap to produce, but cost a fortune to the user. To the affiliate programs that offer 70% commission for nothing more than a pre written ebook telling people how to change their lifestyle and diet. Thumbsdown

We often get people Low Life's joining purely to post links to websites that offer Potions, Lotions, Books, Etc. Hence the reason we make it difficult to post links in posts, profiles, and signatures. Those people are not welcome here and we do make a point of registering them with stopforumspam.com

As you can tell I'm against so called cures, as like your father I have too wasted money in the past. And if I can help others avoid the scams, I will. Here are some of my threads you may find interesting.

So called superstars and their psoriasis experience
Non biased psoriasis information is winning
Psoriasis 360 closing on FB
Psoriasis Cure

As a matter of interest just type psoriasis affiliate programs in Google to see how much you could earn from people with psoriasis:

Psoriasis People please do not fall for the scams.

Agreed... Five, but don't close your eyes for possibilities that you do not know.. You can make the mistake of your life. Always keep on watching with an open mind.

Of course I am doing fine !!! You know me! Big GrinSmile. And I know your sensitivity to my approvals Wink.
I can hardly keep my mouth a little shut if I read how Sairah is writing that the cure is still not found...
But.... The recent stress in my life is provoking its results, I have to take 120mg of Psorinovo more because of it. My feet hurt a little and some of my finger phalanxes sometimes hurt.
Is your headache a bit gone?
