Hello,

My name is Maryam. I have psoriasis since I was 19. Definitely inherited from my mother.
I am now 30 years old. I live in the Netherlands with my 2 daughters and husband.
Currently experiencing my second worst flare up, I started using psorinovo 1,5 week ago. I use enstilar to keep the itching at bay :-).

Hi Maryam I'm glad you found us  Welcome to the club you will find us a very friendly group of fellow sufferers. And this site gives us a platform to share our experiences

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing a bad flare up of the disease, but I'm pleased that you are taking Psorinovo it's a great drug and I hope it works well for you
We have a few members taking it with great success. I'm sure it should work for you. I myself am on Fumaderm which is similar and have been clear for 6 years on it

This  is a great place to meet and chat with fellow sufferers, knowing that the site is secure and you won't be bombarded with advertising, or encounter any spam

Good luck.

Welcome, Maryam.

I think you are on the best treatment. Be patient with it as it can take some time, but if it works well it can keep you clear for many years.

Cheers

Hello Maryam,

Welcome to Psoriasisclub.
Very interesting that you started using Psorinovo. It takes time to work, so be patient and just keep on going. I have been using Psorinovo for many years with very good results. It is an excellent drug.

In the mean time, have fun on the forum. Smile

Groetjes,
Caroline

Hello Maryam  Welcome to Psoriasis Club.

Please don't try to put the blame on your ancestors for psoriasis, yes it is said that it is inherited but I'm not convinced that is true. I come from a large family and no one going back as far as I can see has had psoriasis.

It is also a negative to say "This is where I got it from" the positive however is that psoriasis can strike down any person at anytime and some have psoriasis that can not be tracked down to a family member.

Sorry but I think it is wrong to blame someone else for you having psoriasis and a negative that will not help you cope with it. We need to look at the positive and there is no blame, we have it so let's try to live with it and support others that have it.

It's with you for the rest of your life but no one is to blame.

Regards.

Fred.

tnx to all who welcomed me :-)

and Fred...I am not blaming nor having a negative attitude towards my mother, it is just a stated fact and part of my story. My 2 aunts as well both my grandparents from my mothers side have psoriasis. And I know N=1 does not equal proof, but the role of genetics is becoming more clear and clear in the last years.

To me the inheritance is a neutral fact. I'm sorry you read it like I meant it with an attitude.
