I know it's early in the treatment but wondered if you have noticed any changes ?

hi jim, no, no change. been on it a month now, and im up to 4 tablets aweek. but it is early days i guess. i was told will take up to 3 months, so still got fingers crossed, altho it hasnt worked yet, at least i dont have any side effects,

That's good to hear Martin, have they told you to increase the dose at a later date? Or will that be discussed on your next visit if it hasn't started to clear by then ?
Great to hear there aren't any side effects, I hope the 10mg is enough to get you clear Thumb

I hope your experience with MTX is better than my own. I started MTX in 1989, injections then tablet form which I used to take on a Sunday. I had a nausea feeling for a week after taking it. I was on it around 18 mths with no really improvements for my Nail psoriasis. My white blood cell count rose to something like 40000 can't remember exactly as long time ago. I'd to get a liver biopsy done (not a pleasant experience) and taken off it as it was damaging my liver.
However, I hope it does well for you.

hi daveb. i have been on it now 6 weeks, ish. no change at all, if im honest my skin looks worse lol. but i have no side effects, so thats somthing to be thankful for,  have a strong feeling its going to do nothing for me, but it will be one drug out the way, and on my way to the bios. and there the ones i want. cosentyx etc, but i think that will be a long ways down the road.

Unfortunately that is how the game gets played, Martin, but at least you qualify for better treatments. Good luck with the Otezla.
