You have found your way already nicely on the forum I see.  Smile

Did you ever try salt baths? Just something that jumps to my mind.
Over here in the Netherlands is a guy who created his own bathtub, with reusable salt, and that works quite well for him. But only if your skin reacts on salt water of course.

Cheers,
Caroline.

I've wondered about a salt bath.  Dead sea salts perhaps, or what would you recommend?  I would like to try it.  I've used epsom salt baths, which have helped however I have noticed the baking soda is working much better on the inflammation and itching.  I've also considered adding hydrogen peroxide along with the baking soda.

Thanks Caroline!

Oh, I can not recommend anything at this moment Lillie, I do not know the guy, I read about him in the news. So I do not know what kind of salt he is using, I could try to find out of course, but that could take some time.
It was an article in the news, with a bit big words that he has cured his Psoriasis which of course has been wrongly interpreted by the journalist, but I do believe he has his Psoriasis under control.

If baking soda is working well for you, it at least makes sense to continue that.
I would not know about hydrogen peroxide, isn’t that a very aggressive substance?

I wondered about that too Caroline, and hesitant to try it.  My parents used it on minor cuts when we were children.  And I can't recall where I had read about someone adding peroxide to a baking soda bath.  There are so many rememdies/creams/you name it out there.  I have read some information about Dead Sea Salts being beneficial, as well as Epsom salts.  I think I may stick with the baking soda for now and be patient, as it is improving things.

Peace and thank you,
Lillie

I've had some relief with epsom salt soaks. I just don't enjoy laying in the tub, I have put on a youtube video to pass the time but miss my hottub. Much prefer a quick shower and out. Loved the hot heat of the hottub, but sadly got an untraceable leak in the sealed foam, had to get rid of our beloved hottub.  Good luck with the salt.
