I'm not a sure but these two threads may be of interest:

Psoriasis shows no increased risk of viral infections

Stelara & concurrent hepatitis B or C

As for other immune problems, it would depend what the problem is. If for example it was Crohn's then Stelara can be prescribed, but your dermatologist should know.

Good luck on your choice, sorry Skilarence wasn't for you but it can take time to find the right treatment.

Next week i should meet my Dermatologist and we will decide together which one is good for me.

Good to know all your bloods have come back good Marco. Shame the Skilarence wasn't for you but good that it has given you a step up to bios
I hope you can find one that's good for you and you can read about them all here
Biological Treatments For Psoriasis and hopefully the first they try on you will work well, from what I have read Stelara is a great one if you can get it

Good to hear everything came back good Marco.

Like Jim said you can read about them all in the link he posted. I too would recommend Stelara as a starting point for just psoriasis.

And don't worry about the psoriasis getting worse, the worse it is the better chance you have of getting a good bio. Plus you will be amazed at how quick it starts working.

Good luck with your choice and don't hesitate to start a new thread in Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis when you start.

Fred.

Hello Friends ,

I'm waiting the call from hospital to start bio drug.
The problems in these days is the itch , the spots are very red and the itch on the legs is terrible.
Can you suggest something to calm down that ? Today i'll go to my doctor ( not dermatologist ) to obtain something.
True is that saturday i had a party with grilled pork meat and many beers and drinks... maybe this didn't help me now that i'm not covered with therapy.
Other things was the big stress waiting for blood results and the waiting for the hospital's call.
Very sad today :(
