Good luck Mac, it's still one of the best in the bios for psoriasis.

I had 6 + years on it and it was very good to me.

I will be watching for you updates.

So my first update!!

It's been two weeks since my first injection. Obviously couldn't expect miracle results in this time. However I have noticed a decent improvement in some places and a mild improvement in others   Smile

Biggest thing for me was I've not noticed any real side effects.. haven't been sleeping great since but that's more down to me having fallen out of my usual routine the last two weeks. Anyways, all good so far so lets hope this continues!! Next injection to be taken in 2 weeks

Good to hear Mac. I would say you are right about your sleep, as I don't recall anyone having sleeping issues with Stelara.

You may want to change your treatment in your profile as it still says "Fumaderm" Wink

Great Mac, been on Stelara now for six years and apart from feeling a bit of fatigue for a few days after taking it I don't have any side effects. At the second injection at 4 week it started to improve and by the time I reached the third injection at 12 weeks I was almost clear. I know that we are all different but for me it was fantastic after many years on MTX, I have been in hospital quite a few times with my P so I was starting from a fairly bad position.

Right, second dose taken last night!

I've been on it 4 weeks now and I cannot stress enough the improvement I've seen. Now it's not 100% clear, but it's pretty damn close.. few little spots here and there but it wouldn't bother me. Only real sign now is slight discoloration on my skin where it was but this is pretty normal and will just take time from what I understand.

Big milestone for me anyway,  I wore shorts outside for the first time since my initial flare up!

That's fantastic, it must be the top treatment for P . When I think back to when I first had P it's nothing short of incredible.

Great news Mac it sounds amazing after just 4 weeks but I have heard of it working as fast on others, so it looks like you will be totally clear shortly let's hope it keeps working long term for you and you can continue in your shorts (rather you than me in this weather ) but the joy of being able to I can relate to  Clap  Clap

Good luck and thanks for your positive update

Can I just suggest you change your treatment in your profile to Stelara as it still shows Fumaderm you can change it by clicking here Edit

Hi everyone  Smile

Apologies I've not had any update with a while.

Last night I took my third stelera injection, which has so far been fantastic. I am full clear and I've experienced even less side effects than when on fumaderm(although that was only the very odd hot flush)  Tongue

Only fear now it the coronavirus, there are a number of confirmed cases within 20min drive of my house.... Scary stuff  Tongue
