Read UR story and what u describe could be any number of skin conditions.

It u r using steroid creams use lightly and wash UR fingers. Steroid creams will clear up Psoraisis
But must be used with the fact steroid creams can thin the skin.

Let us know when the biopsy has come in. Psoriasis can start at any age. It can be heriditary .

Think back to any relatives who might have had it. There are a lot of over the counter meds for Psoriasis . Most have coal tar or pine tar in them they work great. Occlusions helps get it under control and remission faster.

Keep in touch ... There's a lot of good advice on this forum for Psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis I have both have had psoriasis since a small child. It comes and goes.

Take care..

Hi. I have been on Enbrel for 10 years. I have plaque psoriasis. It has help a lot. There are long periods of time when I am completely clear. I haven't had any side effects.

Well in a strange (and welcome!) turn of events...my biopsy results came back and it turns out it is NOT psoriasis...just a rash from the creams I had been prescribed for the supposed ringworm! As soon as I stopped using any creams the rash disappeared...so strange and very frustrating that I have spent the entire Summer trying to figure out what was going on. But of course I am so glad to hear that I don't have psoriasis! I have never used even a basic moisturizer in my life, and my husband has eczema so we have all the free and clear soaps, etc...so I guess I just didn't realize that I actually have sensitive skin!
Thanks again for your kind words and I hope you all have success treating and living with your condition!

That's good news! So glad you found what was causing it and the rash is now gone.

That's great news Kirsten thanks for taking the time to come back and tell us
What a relief you aren't going to have to live with psoriasis, you must have been horrified at the thought after reading the forum.
I do hope you enjoyed your time here and hope you will return often to participate, I'm sure you will always be welcome

Hello again Kirsten, thank you so much for coming back to us and updating as your information can be helpful to others.

This is great news, I feel so happy for you I feel a dance coming on Dance

Please don't feel that we don't want to see you any more, but I would think most people with psoriasis would wish everyone well who has finally found out they don't have it.

As for the best moisturiser in the world see here: Coconut Oil

Kirsten you thanked us for the kind words, I for one as I'm sure most members would do thank you for updating and wish you well. You're a member of The Psoriasis Club Forum now, so please do pop back and tell us how things are going. We sometimes need a little bit of good news to help take out minds off things, and you are always welcome here.

Smile
