No that's just funny as we don't say "That Sucks" 85

I forget that although we speak the same language, we don't speak the same slang!

Well, curiosity got the better of me so I decided to see where the saying came from. (Believed to have been started with the saying "Go suck an egg") The meaning is usually one that simply means "That's horrible" when used today. However, due to the sexual undertones, one should be careful when using that saying. Blush

Guess I need to watch my slang around here!

Oh we're not offended, we find it funny. (Well I do and I'm easily offended)

haha.... to offer advice to an expert. Which technically applies here as for me to offer Fred any advice would be about the equivalent.

I wouldn't dare try to teach her anything.

My Nan (Grandma) who technically wasn't my real Nan (long story) made me laugh so much as a kid when she used to say "I can feel it in my bones" when it was damp. Poor old girl she had big fluffy zip up slippers, and always had a smile.  Smile

My real Grandmothers though Ooooooooooooooh they were different.  Scare

Hi Fred,

I hope you can get something done soon. As you know you cannot determine what will work for you by research alone. Finding a treatment requires a "Suck it and see" approach unfortunately, so I hope your first choice succeeds.

Cheers,

Bill

Thank you Bill, yep been in the game long enough to know even if something works it can one day stop and say "That's your lot"

Just have to keep on going mate and find the next option, I must admit I admire your approach and enjoy reading you updates. Would I do it? at the moment no, but if you get a knock on your door by a short broad bloke with a beard and an English accent one day don't turn him away.  Wink
