I have split some posts from this thread as it was going way off topic, you can find the split here: [Split From] Stelara round two

Update: The Stelara is doing nothing this time so I have gone onto a small dose of Methotrexate to see if we can get the psoriatic arthritis down, I've started a new thread here: Methotrexate Injection

I will still keep this thread going as I have just had 90mg of Stelara and we are reviewing the situation in three months time.

Just goes to show you never know what is around the corner, I've been so happy and clear with hardly any pain for almost 5 years and now it's all gone tits up.

Hello Bob, Oops sorry Dave. How could you mistake me for a Jim I don't like Pink.  Big Grin

Yes it did keep it at bay, it wasn't brilliant and I did have the odd problem especially when it was damp but all in all it was good. Also see this thread that has links to others Stelara approved for Psoriatic Arthritis.

Out of all the Bio's Remicade got me moving again, but Enbrel was the best for psoriatic arthritis.

It's not doing much for my PsA Fred (see got it right this time) though apart for my ears it seems to be still working OK. I have an appointment in April so I will have to have a word with the consultant but I don't want to take anything else if I can avoid it though the Tramadol I am taking I don't think is a good alterative.

No Tramadol is only easing the pain, not helping the problem.

Have you tried the other Bio's?

Or as you're in the UK why not ask about Fumaderm.
