Hi All,

New member here and must say I find this site very helpful to all the p suffers out there good to know your not alone.
I know there has been few threads on fumaderm but would just like to ask if anybody had success on it with gutte P, I am on my second week of fumaderm have gone up to two tablets a day I know about the side affects and am willing to continue and hope for the best as have been suffering with P now for 16 years since I was 14 now am 31. I have exhausted all other treatments with no relief the sun those clear it completely but always comes back within two weeks my arms torso and legs are the worst affected sometimes get it on my face but able to control p on my face.

I am just hoping fumaderm will help with my p make it more controllable so I can live a better life and be able to wear a tshirt again and hopefully go for a swim without stares Thumb

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Steve

Welcome Steve! I'm not on Fumaderm so can't answer but I wanted to say hello. Smile I do know we have members who have been quite successful on Fumaderm, I'm sure they'll be saying hello soon as well.

Hi Steve Welcome to the club it's good to have another Fumaderm user on board, I'm glad you find this forum a useful tool, it was put together by Fred for us sufferers to get together and discuss concerns and treatments in a friendly open forum
I'm afraid I can't help with the guttate psoriasis and Fumaderm ... I'm sure it will help but it does take time to work
I'm out at the moment and can't write much but I will write again later when I return home
But I just wanted to extend a welcome .

Hello Steve  Welcome to Psoriasis Club

I too can't help with your Fumaderm question so will leave the others to it, but just wanted to say hello as you had made the effort to introduce yourself.

Regards.

Fred.

Hi again Steve I have a bit more time to write now having just sent the grandkids home, the rest of the day belongs to me.
As I said its good to have you here and giving your experience of Fumaderm, we have over 20 members who are on Fumaderm and a few on other DMF treatments... But I think it is a tough drug to get used to, and slow to work for many but there is over 70% chance it will work for you. It should work on any form of psoriasis although it is generally prescribed for plaque psoriasis.
You are at an early stage on just 2 tablets a day but before long you should start to see a slight improvement.
Do stick with it it is a brilliant drug when the side effects calm down, unfortunately they are very bad for some and they need to give up.
If you put Fumaderm in the search facility at the top of the page you will have lots of posts highlighted and all have a different experience with it. If you have any questions just post and I or one of the other members will get back to you. In the meantime while you are waiting for the Fumaderm to work feel free to join us in the off topic section where it is a little less serious and there are lots of threads anyone can join in with.
We are a very friendly bunch and always pleased to greet newcomers in off topic
Jim

Hello Steve,

Welcome to Psoriasisclub.
I am not a Fumaderm user, but a DMF user, the working ingredient of Fumaderm. Over here with us we have a different product which contains DMF.
The treatment is a long term one, with a careful build up of the dose. As Jim says you have at least a 70% chance that it will work for you.
There is a lot of information on the forum on DMF, if you want to read more, just shout and we will guide you to it.

In the mean time have fun and take care when you are entering the Off-topic section. Sometimes it seems as if there are sensible people over there, but that makes no sense. Tongue

Hi Steve welcome to the site, Fumaderm is one drug I have not used so I cannot comment on it but I am sure that many on here will be able to. Take care and again welcome.
