I am so happy to have a place to come for information. I have had psoriasis since 2005 and it is spreading. I find it very helpful reading the posts concerning the natural treatments rather that drugs. Don't like them and find they actually make things worse for hands and feet. Thank you for letting me join.

Hello Amazingrace  Welcome to Psoriasis Club.

Sorry I'm not into natural treatments myself apart from Coconut Oil. Though I can understand some people wanting to avoid drugs, sometimes you have to look a little deeper to what is actually in a product.

Quote:
Active ingredients:

White petrolatum 30%

Water, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, distearyldimonium chloride, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, polyethylene, stearyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, methyl gluceth-20, behentrimonium methosulfate, steareth-21, steareth-2, allantoin, cocodimonium hydroxypropyl hydrolyzed rice protein, cetyl alcohol, tocopheryl acetate, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter extract, PEG-10 rapeseed sterol, polysorbate 60, ceramide 2, hydrolyzed collagen, stearamidopropyl PG-dimonium chloride phosphate, jojoba esters, DMDM hydantoin, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, butylenes glycol, methylparaben, palmitoyl oligopeptide, propylene glycol, hydrolyzed jojoba esters, propylparaben, EDTA, potassium hydroxide, tribehenin, C12-15 alkyl benzoate, retinyl palmitate (309-007)

Harmful Ingredients in Skincare Products

I only mentioned as I wouldn't class it as a natural treatment myself, and if that is the way you prefer to go I thought it may help.

Regards.

Fred.

Welcome Amazingrace!

What is so great about here is that many people use different treatments according to what works for them or sometimes just preference.

Myself, I do not like meds either (but not too many people do I think.) However, topicals either over the counter or prescribed were doing nothing for me so I went on Acitretin and became almost clear. It was a good choice for me at that time. Now I choose to use coconut oil to help with the small areas that occur. I'm constantly keeping watch though and have to say if I start regressing too much, I'll go back on some type of medication to control it.

Glad you found your way here!
