along. It's good that you have a supportive husband, it goes a long way and good on him. I would imagine working at the dog rescue would be a good job for someone with psoriasis, I know my dog always managed to keep me calm and give the occasional smile (well actually a lot) 
Covering your face with paper bags isn't a good idea, especially if you use the ones from the takeaway.
