There are two types of pain most with PsA complain about - pain caused from permanent joint damage, and the other is caused by the disease. The best medication to use on a casual basis is NSAIDs. Other forms of pain medication will NOT help the pain caused by the disease. The most noticeable sign of PsA is stiffness. When you wake up you have noticeable stiffness in the joints with the disease.
