I apologize its been a while since I posted here as I was traveling for work. I just got home this weekend and was checking up on my father and now it seems like Humira is causing side effects on his body. The doctor has changed his dose to every week rather than every other week.
When this all first started, it came up up from a spot below his knee cap and up to his shoulders. Today as he was applying olive oil on his upper body, I saw that skin was pealing on this neck and on further examination - it seems as if it has spread all over his scalp on top of the eyebrows continuing to his sideburns area. There are a few spots below his eyes as well that are showing a reddish color - which he explained was the same way it started on his scalp.
I am not sure what to do at this point, I know Humira takes time to kick in but this has never happened till now where we saw it spread onto his face and scalp. I am making an appointment to see the dematologist this week to see what we can do.
Has anyone experienced the same side effects or know of this?
