Methotrexate update.....

It's good to see some positive results with methotrexate. My dermo told me to stop acitretin because of the severe side effects and minimal change to PPP, so I'm resting my skin for a few weeks, having chest x-ray today and blood tests this week in preparation. I'm worried about weight gain after losing 10 kg recently over 6 mths and how I'll handle the change in my alcohol drinking every evening. I guess if it works, it's worth it. If the side effects are anything like what acitretin did to me, in a different way, I'll be done with it pretty quickly. It's all very depressing.

I think it should be worth it skipping the alcohol, don’t you?
The most important thing is that you check it out if it works and if you feel good with it.
The side effects appear to vary from person to person, and it is not to be predicted how you will react to it.
Remember, there are still many ways to go from here.
