Sadly it seems to be a problem Worldwide. The various health providers always appear to belittle the effects Psoriasis in its many forms has on the sufferer and are always slow to enable effective treatment. Sadly we seem to be an expense they don't want to meet. I know very little about the American health system, coming from the UK and our NHS, the American system looks decidedly complicated. But we still have a load of hoops to jump through and it can take several years of experimentation to find a suitable treatment.
I hope you get your funding sorted and the treatment you deserve.
