Welcome to the forum.
I will first apologize to you, I am Dutch and that means that I have a quite direct way to express my opinion.
So, that having said now the following.
Fumaderm is based on the substance dimethylfumarate, Fumarates are substances that are normal in our bodies, we all have them in the chemical reactions in our cells and cannot live without them.
Methotrexate is based on... Poison. It is basically a chemo-drug that is used in attacking cancer, and it is known to ruin your immune system.
To my opinion above says enough, don't even think of methotrexate if you have the choice of going for fumaderm. It is a rather innocent drug, of course you need to use it under regular checking up of your blood values just to be sure, and you have a 70-75% chance of succes.
I have used MTX myself, those were the worst weeks of my life.
