I think that they are just being careful when starting so advised the wait so if and when the side effects kick in they will not be attributed to the food.
Although more likely the dermatologist is unsure and not taking chances

Mine wanted me to stop when I had my radiotherapy for no other reason than they were unsure

They just don't know in my opinion.. Big Grin
