I'm on my 5 round of UVB and about a third of way through.

My skin has been changed so much after having my first baby 11 months ago, I'm struggling to hit 3 minutes without burning.

I prefer UVB over other treatments despite it takes such a long time and for me gives short lived results.

But I do worry that the burning I get then causes my psoriasis to come back worse.

Anyone else have UVB experiences?

Hello Hanna,

Nice to see you back!
Read of your 11 months old, indeed how time flies. Over here we are fine.

I don't have experience on UVB, but what I do now is that the sun, so UVB, has an enormous influence. I am now on holidays in the south of France with continuous sun, and I can use about half of my medication and still feel excellent. I am of course almost the whole day outside.
Which brings me to the idea, as I have PsA, that the effect of the sun is not only limited to your skin, basically the sun takes care of lots more of vitamin D, and it is know that vitamin D has a positive effect on psoriasis.

I think you can do a search on google, in order to find more info/research on the use of UVB.

Caroline
