It's refreshing to come to this website and be able to go from post to post without annoying popups and ads at the top and bottom of pages.
I respect Fred for not buckling in to google just to get higher listing on their search engine.
I think we should all try to help Fred get higher in the rankings where possible as requested in the newsletter.
I am sure Fred has the strength of character to resist requests for live links and advertising. He has said if you want a link made live and it is deemed suitable he will make it live. After all it is his site and he makes the Rules of which there aren't many.
Long may the site remain independent Thumb and I am sure it is one of the reasons people keep coming back time and time again

Thank you for the feedback Jim, it will stay that way. Thumb

Nope I will never pay to get ranked higher, I would rather people find us for what we are and not for what we have paid.

I'm often getting requests to put links or advertising on Psoriasis Club, but it will always be free from Sponsors, Advertising, or Requests for donations.

Rest assured Jim while I'm here it will remain independent, I have always said if it's helping one person I will keep it going. But it's the members that make it what it is, so thank you too. Thumb

Another thing I particularly like about this site is when I have had problems not even psoriasis related there is always someone with a few words of support.
You feel you can be candid on the forum because you are a bunch of strangers with a condition in common that links us together, and whether it's nodules, cancer, fibroids or even lost cats we all try to help each other.
Although I think I should be renamed the pain of the forum. For some of my posts Dance

Just a quick post to remind all existing and potential new members that Fred has tirelessly kept the forum free for everyone without subscription, donations or outside interference or advertising or annoying pop ups and he has done a remarkable job keeping spammers and bullies off the site. From the front here it looks to run itself but I know keeping a website safe is a lot of work for him it's been in its current format almost four years now. (31 May)Oh how I wish I had found this haven earlier.
As we all know on here there are always new articles on the latest research and drug trials, to keep members coming back, he keeps the site very active with stimulating facts about psoriasis and some trivia in the off topic section
An independent place like this is a great rarity I for one 78 take my hat off to Fred for staying independent mfp
A great place
