This is my first time on this forum and I hope someone has some suggestions for me.
I have been diagnosed with Postulate Psoriasis on the bottom of my foot. I, of course, have tried the steroids and only helped until I quite using them.

Has anyone found a natural treatment that has helped.

Hello,

I combine regular meds with alternative some homeopathic, and do my own kinesiology muscle testing with supplements when I shop. I consult a biological medicine practitioner. We do meridian testing, and check via muscle testing everything from lymes to pituitary function and annual body thermography and blood and urine work up.
For me stress and cold set off inflammation and cold soars...
I also use oil of oregano capsules, and the oil with baking soda, it can sting.....

My biochemist critical care specialist-osteopath determined meds that are less stressful to liver and kidneys so I can rotate and combine what feels right at the time.

Cocoanut oil i use topically as well. I rotate take slippery elm bark and saffron tea mixture internally as well as topically.
On rare occasions I use psor val only because of the meds I take to get rid of side effects of what binds to what and what may contain aluminum. Fluoride free tooth paste and aluminum free deodorant and sulfate free shampoos and soaps... even cleaning products.

I take bio identicals plant based hormones and the western meds that take out bad estrogens and side effects... some people use DIM supplement, but not all supplements work for everyone. I also sauna, swim, work out and use medical meals that are chelation based and plant based bouillon that helps with reducing inflammation and metabolism.

I am considering making my own salt room and hyperbaric chamber...I also have a medical grade water machine and I use a verily lamp on occasion and electric zapper by Hulda Clark on occasion, but not in full agreement with her philosophy.

Have tried energy medicine, tuning forks, and other modalities. Worked with a Peruvian Shaman years ago and my psoriasis went into a remission 3 days later.

I trained and got certified in areas that would also help me personally. I did lots of work on not internalizing anger and suppressing life's frustrations.

It is a lot of work but I have other health considerations so I went this combining route
I cannot make a suggestion on a topical plant based remedy.
Don't know if this helps I can only share what I do and what works for my body. I like to think out of the box..and it is not for everyone.

Best LL

Hello Sbalcar Welcome to Psoriasis Club.

I'm not a fan of natural treatments myself and believe them to be a placebo, having said that if it works for you then go for it. Have a look at Natural Treatments For Psoriasis you will find what some are using and don't hesitate to shout out.

One thing in Natural I agree with LL about is Coconut Oil and use it every day as a moisturiser, but that alone will never halt psoriasis.

As you can see you will get mixed views from members of Psoriasis Club which is a good thing, but one thing you will find is that we are a friendly bunch who understand.

Regards.

Fred.

I am also pleased to welcome you to the forum unfortunately I have never used any natural treatments for my psoriasis. However I am open minded regarding their usefulness and on here you can read many peoples experiences with natural treatments.
I am of the school of belief that psoriasis needs to be treated internally as the plaques are just a symptom of the condition.
Myself I have been through most topical treatments which as you say the psoriasis just comes back as soon as you stop.
Sunshine and a positive attitude are a great help.
But I have to admit that i have never been as free from psoriasis than I have been for well over a year now on my Fumaderm tablets.
I really hope you get a good response and find something to give you some relief Welcome and hope you post some updates for us Thumb
