Before  bedtime I peeled off the old one and replaced with the new one.  In the morning peeled it off and a new piece after the shower. So basically I covered it day and night.  It did not hurt when I peeled it off. You will be surprised the inside is moist, not dry. Before I  started using the tape , the skin was thick, silvery and flaky and no hairs could visible.  But now the skin is normal I could see hairs. And most of all I sleep better and no more scratching. So far, no tape, no itch.no flare up yet.

Thanks for letting us in on your technique it's an interesting idea and as long as you aren't damaging your skin and it's working it may well be a good idea, I myself don't need anything like that at the moment but I like to know of these different ideas as sometimes in my life I would have tried anything to get rid of the itch  Thumb

jim I may give the duct tape a try because I scratch all thru the night.I have to buy some tomorrow at our local Dollar Store.I heard about using duct tape on skin tags. Clap

Let us know how it works for you Glenda it's worth a go if it stops your itching

Thank you. I am going to Saigon for 6 weeks and guess what I must bring "duct tap" just in case it flares up.

Glad to see my sister but very sad to leave my fury babies behind. Will love more and lot of hugs for them when I am back in mid March.

See, this is why I was looking for an independent forum like this. Sites that are run by big orthodox charities are so cautious, you'd never read about something as goofy and possibly useful as this.

Where's my duct tape...?

That's because we don't have to sell anything or please Fat Cats shareholders, we don't run on donations either so what you get is just people talking about psoriasis. (Well unless you got to the Off Topic section and that is packed full of all sorts of things.).

Hello all, I am back from my trip to Saigon, vn. My last 2 week there, I got a tiny flare up on my knee cap and of course duct tape to the rescue. Now it is gone but I just want to play "safe" so I still duct tape it.
