Don't go above six Ruth .... You should be ok up to that number. Have you had any recent blood results to determine what is safe ?
If you remember back to when you started it took a while to start up, I think you are a bit further on than that but you will have to be patient im afraid Thumb
Are you still getting new plaques developing?

Hi Ruth,

You should not have a problem with 6 * 120 mg if you are being monitored, but remember that the drug takes several weeks to work once an effective dose is reached. Sorry your specialist is not taking more interest at such a critical point in treatment. I hope you can get some clarification and I hope the treatment will start working for you.

Cheers,

Bill

I would doubt that Ruth, at the dose you have put yourself on it should be quicker than that, it's impossible to put a time on it though.... We have the summer to look forward to and some increase in sunshine ... This should also help to clear you and as soon as you see a change be prepared to reduce your dose again. But I think you have been very unlucky with this outbreak and once under control reduce slowly to around 3 a day. I personally can't go lower than that without running into difficulties..
There are still alternatives out there if it should fail ... However I think it will kick back in fairly quickly now but it may take a week or two ... Do give it time, you know how good it has been in the past and there's no reason it should be any different again. You were just on to low a dose when the stress hit you hard
