Otezla vs Acitretin anyone?

My Dr is thinking of changing me from Acitretin which is working extremely well for me, to Otezla because my hair is getting a little thin (this was a problem before I was ever diagnosed with psoriasis, Acitretin is just making it a bit more noticeable).

Anyone here on Otezla?

I wish I could help and tell you we have members on otezla but I have looked through the database and I can't find a member on it
I know there is some difficulty getting it approved in Europe for some reason that I can't remember without looking it up.
But there are a lot of threads on here about otezla but they are about the trials rather than personal experience I will look some up and put some links on for you shortly

I don't think it will help with your question about hair thinning though

Sorry cant add more than what Jim has said, I don't think we have anyone that has used Otezla and it's getting mixed reports as to if it's any good or not.

Hi, 

I was diagnosed with Guttate Psoriasis in mid 2014. Tried light therapy, then Methotrexate which i did not like and have now been on Otezla for over a year. It has worked great for me. I had a pretty severe case and it has shrunk down to only very small areas around my waistline which is contributed by my waistband for my pants that cause skin irritation. Besides that its been like a miracle. The only side effect Ive had is increased number of times i go to the washroom daily and i would take that 10/10 times for how Otezla has helped

Hi joeb and it's great to read that otezla is working well for you, there is a lot of information on here about Otezla.
It's not something I've tried but many here are using it and getting good results
