Well thank you all for the warm welcome. I will keep you posted on any new revelations. In the meantime, I plan to navigate this site and possibly try some suggestions etc. Very happy to know there is a site like this to bounce things around and get some great feedback.

That's one of the things I love about this site. Members give honest feedback and share experiences. Although the feedback and experiences can vary greatly, we are all respectful and can sympathize with each other.

There is a ton of info here, feel free to ask if you need any help finding your way around.

Yep like Kat said above "feel free to ask if you need any help finding your way around" none of us a doctors, but we certainly know what it's like living with psoriasis. Our motivation is to share information with others away from the big money and pharma corporate world, information from a mix of people using the products is better than information from sponsored sites any day.

We don't always agree, but also like Kat said we do respect each others opinions. So just dive one in, and if you feel like a change away from psoriasis you will find all sorts of things going on in the members only boards. I'm often found in the Off Topic board offering some sensible words of wisdom.  Snigger

I am Joanne. New to this site and posting , as well. Lived with psoriasis for 40 years now. Completely clear due to Stelara, but now facing major dental issues. Saw a few threads on subject. Is anyone else suffering from this ?  Thank you.

Welcome Joanne to our group there are so many nice people here and so helpful.I probably had psoriasis when i was in my teens but didn't know it.I always thought I had dandruff and my nails were always so thin and would crack. Then when I was about 54 I had it behind my ears and along side my nose and bad in my scalp. When I finally found out it was due to my knee swelling and I could barely walk.I went to my Dermotologist and she said I had psoriasis and she suspected I had psoriatic arthritis.Well I went to a Rheumatologist and sure enough That's what I had,he had to drain my knee.I have been seeing him for 10 yrs now.I was on Remicade then had a reaction to it,got hives each time I took an infusion the last time the hives were around my throat and I had to go to the Hospital I couldn't breathe so they gave me a cocktail of Benadryl steroids and something else can't remember what but that was it for Remicade.I am now on Enbrel 50 mg sure click pen I give myself a shot every Sat.As far as my teeth I get them cleaned every 3 months so I won't have problems. It's costly but well worth keeping my teeth.I only have lost one and I have a bridge that's connected to my wisdom tooth. All other three wisdom are pulled for I didn't have room in my mouth for them.I see you are from New York I live in Pa 50 miles from Pittsburgh. We are about 6 hrs or so away from New York.Welcome again :clap
