Is there a link between stopping Humira and headaches? I didn't do last weeks jab and I've had two migraines.. Could be just coincidence but I haven't had migraines for years.

I have not taken a biological so can't really help but I note fron the post on Humira Humira (adalimumab) that headaches are a common side effect
Whether that applies to missing a shot I don't know
I'm sure someone here will know

Humira was the worst one for me for headaches but they came on after the shot. I also had a few small headaches with the other bio's but no longer get them, and again when I did they were after the shot.

Sorry I don't know of anyone reporting headaches after stopping.

Turned, i use to get pounding headaches & migraines when i was on humira.

I never twigged it was humira that caused them but the only thing that would get rid of my headaches & migraines was Aspro tablets.

I would pop 2 x 500mg into fizzy mineral water & within about 3 to 4 mins of drinking it, my head would clear.

Normal soluble aspirin never touched my headaches let alone the migraines but aspro did.

I was told paracetamol would shift it but i found that it was crap.

Hope you feel better soon Turned Thumb

Thanks, I usually use soluble paracetamol with codeine for a bad one (paracetamol tabs make me barf) and also ibuprofen.

I didn't want to do my jab this week because I have a cold, so that could be the cause of the migraines but it's just unusual for me to get them these days, let alone two in a row.

I haven't noticed headaches or any side effects after an injection so far.

Yes, there is a link between migraines and TNFs. I had them with enbrel, but not Cimzia.
