My dermatologist gave me a can of Enstilar to try out. It's a spray with a couple of steroids in it. It's kind of cool and has scrubbing bubbles effect. It's $1000.00 USD for a 60g can. Cool product, but the price tag is a bit over the top.

Be interesting to get a members thoughts on it. But it's designed for up to 4 weeks use so it will be interesting to see what happens after then.

Oh and avoid fire, flame, or smoking.  fry

You can read more about it here: Enstilar gets FDA approval

The only thing I like about it is that you can get a thin layer across large parts of the body. Not much different then painting a car. But the cost here is absurd, so maybe this will be ok when the cost comes down.

Take my advice; I don't use it anyway.

Interesting.

I hadn't heard of it before now. That is a high price tag for sure though. As you say, hopefully that will come down.

I actually love this stuff. Not because it works, but because it's ease of use. I don't have to find some wired way to prevent the tube from getting all nasty. It's easy to apply to the back. It sprays upside down. List goes on. Only issue is it burns a bit to apply.

Clearly end-weighted bendy tubes are the way of the future. Perhaps the same can be done for canned cheese.

Not sure what you are talking about, but I like the idea of the spray, it's much easier to apply than the substance comming from a tube. I can actually apply the recommended amount. With tubes I get too much or too little. It's too bad it's at a ripoff price.

Matari can you regulate the amount in any way?

What I mean is does it cover a large area or can you just spray a small amount on say and elbow. I'm thinking paint spray cans cover a large area and it's difficult to cover just a small spot if you get what I mean.

Fred, it's just like painting a car with a spray gun. It's mostly muscle memory if you follow directions. There no way to control the amount comming out with proper application (atomization in the paint world). However, you control the amount applied through duration and movement. What I mean is that the can is designed to give the correct amount for a relatively a small patch, but if you hold it longer you get more.
