Hey everybody!

I´m new on this forum and wanted to hear if anybody else has experience of the Chinese ointment Pien Tze Huang? I have a Chinese friend that brought me this cream and it´s been working very well so far. Almost as good as cortisone, but it shouldn´t dry out the skin or anything so you can keep going on a daily basis. Or that´s what I heard anyway.

So please let me know if you have any experience in this!

Cheers

Hi jonas and Welcome to the club it's not something I have tried but I understand it's an old Chinese remedy used for cancer treatment , when you say it's working do you mean your plaques are clearing or is it moisturising and easing the itching?

Hey Jiml,
thanks for the welcome!

The plauges are clearing. So far I´ve used it for about a month and it´s been reduced with the half more or less. I know this was also used to cure cancer so maybe it´s the same one we´re talking about. For that you take it orally, which I tried as well. I got arthritis in one of my knees as well and the pain almost completey vanished - for a week. These pills are ridiclously expensive and I only had two.

I hope it continues to work for you and you get clearance with it, it will be interesting to know

As you have seen on the forum there is a wealth of information about the disease and it's treatment, this information has all been added by fellow sufferers, with no advertising, or sponsorship. You will find this a friendly place to come and relate your experiences and learn from others without encountering any spam or internet nasties .
So enjoy your time here and have a look through the natural treatment boards ( I have to say I go the conventional route of prescribed healthcare )

Hi!
I had a quick look, it sounds like they are interested in this medicine as studies have been conducted to do with inhibiting cell proliferation so I can see why it's of interest in psoriasis.

I hope that if it is a promising medicine, we will explore it further..

It does bother me though, how these sorts of medicines are made and the animal welfare aspects etc but however it is always very interesting if something works Smile
