Then you options are.

#1 Change your GP.
#2 Go to another town/county.
#3 Contact someone in authority and tell them unless you get proper treatment you are going to involve your local media, they love these sort of stories.
#4 Also some of your local PMs may be interested in it, they too love publicity.

Sorry, but this is one of those cases where you just going to have to get angry.

Another NHS Fail.  Angry

What a shame they are treating you so badly, although now they have increased your dose you may well start seeing an improvement

The nurse is wrong ....she may think she is treating you well and giving good advice and treatment . But we are telling you facts here, and would never try to mislead you, we have no axe to grind, and just offer honest advice and support ....
I hope your doctor tomorrow is more sympathetic and understands your concerns and gives you something for your scalp
Good luck and as Caroline said we are all here and glad to offer support Thumb

Very poor, as far as I know the nurse is a support act and the only time I only saw a nurse was to get burnt sorry, to have uvb.

Well, after reading what you have gone through and the way you've been treated Smegs, I'm not surprised.

I too have had a right battle with the derm nurse in the past.

I wrote a letter of complaint about the derm nurse's attitude etc and sent it to taunton PALS.

She went off sick and took early retirement because from what I heard, lot's of patients complained about her, the cow.

The nhs is up shit creak without a paddle at the moment.

Last week, my GP moaned about how much of his budget I'm chewing up. My answer was stern and straight, I'm sorry I'm unwell but that's life.
He mentioned that the UK has a shortage of 200 dermatologists.
My dermatologist is retiring from taunton hospital.
Christ knows where I'm going to go, Exeter, Bristol, etc, I haven't a clue.

The thing is Smegs, fight your corner and tell that you are putting a letter of complaint to higher authority.

Hope you do well Smegs Bigarm
