For those of you that have had good results with dovonex, did you find it took a little while for the results to be apparent or was it just a day or two like with the steroid creams. Currently been using dovonex for 3 days and it doesn't seem to be doing much as of yet except helping to keep the area moisturised...

Really hoping to see some results as using dovobet, even short term, gives me folliculitis, particularly on my biggest patch of psoriasis. And obviously it shouldn't be used long term anyway.

I never had great success with Dovonex myself, but I believe in the days when I was given it I wasn't told the difference ....but it was several years ago.. in those days we were treated like mushrooms ..kept in the dark and fed on bull.....
So I think the reason it didn't work for me was because I didn't give it a chance to work...like you I wanted to see improvement fast ..as I did with the steroid creams, so used it a few days and went back to Dovobet as it at least kept my showing bits clear..

So it should work but probably not as fast as the powerful steroids....but that us just my opinion, someone else may know for certain

It will take a while to start working and you need to use it twice per day.

But remember it works for some people and not for others and it may take longer than some.

It is slower to work... I found it never got rid of the plaques, but stopped or slowed the extra skin growth. So I would still have a red patch, but it would not be raised or have flakes as long as I use it 2 or 3 times a day.

The liquid scalp lotion which is no longer available (now is mixed with a steroid) (steroids thin skin and rebound worse when stopped) was a favorite of mine. It was great for my scalp and inner ears...
