New treatment Otezla ?????????

IHi guys well that's a week iv been taking otezla and I thought it was to good to be true no side effects no sickness or dioreahh headaches nothing than bang it hits me iv been awake the last 4 nights from abt 12 midnight onwards can't sleep for trying and it dawned on me I have insomnia from it... now normally I sleep like a sloth lol according to my Granddaughter I am always sleeping lol but I can't sleep for love or money im absolutely shattered going to see go for something to help me sleep xx

Glad it's working for you except for the insomnia. Is that a common side effect for Otezla?

Yeh hunni it's on the list it took me a few days to twig what was going on with me I'm normally like rip vanwinkle lol sleeping constantly what I wouldn't give to sleep xx

Yes it's on the list as a rare side effect Tracey ....I hope it's just temporary and you start to get some sleep soon

If it gets too much can you reduce the dose? ....I'm not sure of the dose you take of otezla

Not sure it's a good idea to take something to help psoriasis that causes you to need something to help you sleep.  

You normally sleep well, so I would be concerned about needing something to help me sleep. It's just my personal opinion but I wouldn't continue with Otezla if it was effecting me in that way.

I'm on 60mg 30 in morning and at night got hosp on tues so will speak to them see what they say. Will keep you updated x

It's a difficult decision as it's working well for you ...good idea to see what the hospital says
I'm like fred I wouldn't get another drug involved to help you sleep ....can you phone the hospital and ask if you can miss a couple of doses

I have been on Otezla for some time now
can't say that I have that problem.what time in the evening
do you take the second tablet ?

Hi Phil I normally take it abt 8:30 when I get in from work xx
