Thanks artemie  Thumb  I'm sure we can organise some fine local produce to go with the wine.  I suspect I shall have to find a source of gin for some members though.

Hi Craig  Wave just catching up with the Newbies.
Welcome to the gang. I see your Dermy wants you on Acitretin. If you need any advice on the stuff give me a yell. I'm on my second round of the stuff and we have come to learn to live with each other. Confused

A Tassie bloke eh? I know the place fairly well, i spent just over 3 years there as a youngster. A beautiful State. Thumb

Thanks, John. I am starting to understand what you mean about Acitretin and living with each other, after an initial "shedding" it now seems to have just changed the nature of the plaques rather than actually getting rid of them, admittedly its only early in the journey through.  Where about in Tassie were you?

A now non existent mining town south of Burnie. The first time I was on the stuff I did get good clearance but it took nearly six months.

Hello everyone, sorry for my extended absence there has been a lot of stuff going on and I haven't been in the right space to engage.  I seem to be coming out the other end now and all seems to be looking up.  In other news I started Humira today, so I'll have to start checking out all the Humira related stuff.  Hope you, your families  and friend are all happy and healthy.

Hi Craig,
Nice to see you returning. We all have our own lives, so that can come in a situation that something like psoriasisclub will go to the background. But we are always happy when members like you keep us in mind and come back as the tide is good again.
Good luck with your Humira. If you read along you will see that for the most it is kind of an in between step to a different biological.

Cheers,
Caroline

That was a pleasant surprise seeing your posts this morning Craig, Great to see you again ... I’m glad you are in a better place now and life is looking better, I hope it continues to improve for you    Thumb
I hope the Humira works for you and gets you clear of Psoriasis. There is lots of information on humira on the boards and several members have been on it Thumb

Hi Craig,

Good to see you making headway. I hope Humira does the trick for you. At least you don't have to waste any more time with that silly acitretin.

Cheers

Hello Craig good to see you back.

Sorry to hear you haven't been yourself, but good to know you are coming out the other side.

Like Caroline said "We all have our own lives to live" and your private life is more important than Psoriasis Club. That said, we will always be here and there is always someone wiling to listen if you ever want to off load.

Good luck with Humira and don't hesitate to start another thread about your journey if you wish.

Oh and by the way. Did you bring any Pies ? munch

Hi Craig,
Sorry to hear you have been having a difficult time, but glad to hear you are on the up again.
For myself I find that the difficult times in my life really help me appreciate the times when life is good again. When I am going through difficult periods, I try to hold onto the good things in my life to get me through.

I was on Humira for a while and it worked well (just not Well enough) but now I am using Stelera. This is the best one do far for me.

Good luck with the Humira.

There is always a listening ear here if things get too much.
