I have been taking Cosentyx for five months.

In that time I am constantly exhausted, and have cold symptoms including sore throat, nasal congestion, headaches,  and fatigue.

Is anyone else out there having these issues, and, if so (and more importantly!)  how do you deal with them?  My MD told me I just have to get used to it and deal with it.  I would like to know if anyone has found a way to deal with these issues.

     Thanking you in advance,

Look at my cosentyx story.  Cosentyx hit me like a ton of bricks and not in a good way.  I lost 30 pounds in the loading phase alone.  I constantly felt like i was being poisoned or something.  Always felt sick. I had constant fatigue, like to the point I would have to go home at 3pm and sleep till the next morning.  While Cosentyx did help my symptoms, it just caused too many side effects for me.

Even though I don't like to hear about anyone suffering, I take some comfort in knowing that others are feeling the fatigue. Some days I get up and my first thought is "when will I be able to work in a nap today?"
Hard to do when you work full time and volunteer in my community and go to a lot of evening meetings and events!
What's been bothering me even more are the constant cold symptoms. It's like "Ground hog Day"!
Every morning I wake up feeling like I am coming down with a cold or strep throat or a sinus infection. But it doesn't get to the point of actually being sick and I go to sleep and wake up and it's the same thing all over again.
BUT
I am clear! The only psoraisis I have is on my elbows and it looks like dry skin rather than scales or plaque. So I have to say that cosentyx has been wonderful for my psoraisis. I am going to hang in there a few more months and see if the side effects subside.
As far as I am concerned otezla was the worst in terms of side effects. I was so sick I had a hard time functioning and it began to affect me emotionally too. Cleared my psoraisis up completely though.
One day at a time and all that jazz...
