Yes that is correct, you can read more here: Cosentyx (secukinumab)

You say you will get the first 5 free. Will you still get the others free or subsidised ? I ask because you say that Stelara is too expensive, but here it is around 4000 euros less per year than Cosentyx.

*Don't forget you are welcome to start a new thread about your cosentyx journey if you wish.

So you will need 26 jabs per year, that will cost you €9880. If you have the money then it's not a problem, but with Stelara you only need 4 shots per year so it may be worth asking about the cost of that if your budget is limited.

Yes it can make you feel a little tired after the shot, but once your body gets used to it the tiredness gets less.

Good luck.

Hi , just a quick updates on my cosentyx journey.
I start my 300mg cosentyx jab last thursday , and today is my 2nd jab. But this round i will only able to take 150mg onwards for following weeks and monthly maintanence dose too due to price is too costly to me.
Now is day 7 after my first treatment , my body react to this cosentyx very well.. as i have less itchy and very little flakes . Most my body part from angry red turn to pink and start fading away . I was surprise it working so effective. And afrer my second dose (150mg only). I even felt better for my skin.. as i had no such comfortable feeling since my last flareup. Im very happy at the moment hope this miricale drug work long term to me. Besides i have no much side effect , right after the jab im just feeling sleepy thats it .. and maybe is just because im more happier now.. i have so good appetite and i eat alot for the whole week .
Cheers <3

Shame you didn't get the 300mg loading dose regime. Some do mange on 150mg maintenance, but I think the 300 is important at the start.

Be interesting to see how well it goes.

Good luck from France  Smile

I noticed that in the last week before my maintenance does I started to get a couple of small spots that needed some extra moisturiser otherwise nothing major. My Cosentyx journal shows my progress from day one on Cosentyx which you can see here once you have made 10 posts [Group Specific]
