Be annoying if Skilarence isn't as good as Fumaderm as yourself and Mac have done very well on it.

Could be worth starting a thread to ask if any others have tried both, it may not get any answers but you never know.
Good idea I'll do it in the morning as I have to go to Mrs Jim now and see to her dialysis Thumb

I wouldn't worry, Jim. Small changes in disease are quite normal with DMF. You have been on the stuff eight years, so I think it unlikely that it would stop working. My experience has been that DMF has become more effective the longer I am on it: I now need less than half the amount I started on.

Cheers

Yeah, maybe it will take some time, wouldn't worry about it yet, tho I agree it's good to start a thread about it to see if other user experiences pop up. Also, you might want to try a good probiotic: the spore forming types, like Bacillus Coagulans, will survive stomach acid and do it's magic below your stomach. You know, the area with the  potentional sausage liner material Smile

I agree with Bill and Artemie, don't quit too quickly just because a few patches. Smile

@Bill, got a mail from a friend, Tineke, who said that she went down from 12x a day (there is no upper limit with Psorinovo) , to three pills a week and still clear, indeed showing that the metabolism can adjust and make the treatment more effective. How? I would not know.

It is true in my case, Caroline. The flushes I now get with 430mg are at least as intense as I used to get with 830mg. My symptoms and the blood tests suggest that I am getting the same efficacy. What has changed is that the tummy upset is consistently very mild, a big plus.

Cheers

Time for an update since my last update I've had 2 blood tests and both have been stable with my lymphocytes staying well within the normal range at 1.15 (normal is between 1 and 3) so as I see it my immune system is still fighting infections and viruses

With the global Corona virus panic I don't feel any more vulnerable than any other healthy person . Ok my age is against me if I get it, but I doubt skilarence will have any effect on the severity of it should I get it

As far as my psoriasis is behaving the small patches in my scalp are getting smaller and I can't see any new plaques anywhere (another bonus getting old God makes your eyesight worse so you can't see the imperfections as well)
So I'm pleased to say  that it's another boring update with nothing to report

Great news, Jim. I cease taking DMF if I get a cold, but we have both been on this stuff long enough to know how it works. Like a good wine it gets better with time. Unfortunately it is nothing like a good wine in all other respects.

Cheers
